Biography
Born in Hong Kong in 1995, Alison Chang relocated to Canada in 1996 and grew up in Toronto, attending Bayview Glen and Havergal College. Her passion for the arts inspired her to move to Los Angeles, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from the University of Southern California (USC).

Alison’s acting career gained momentum early on with her standout performance in Cry Havoc, a play about the horrors of war in Bataan. Her portrayal of Smitty earned her the Rosemary Character Award for leadership in the arts, the Best Drama Award, and the University of Toronto Book Award.

While at USC, Alison acted in several notable projects, including Chlorine, an award-winning short film created for the DKA 24hr Filmfest, and The Waiting Room, where she played the poignant role of Forgiveness from Heaven. She also brought her comedic talents to the screen as Maddie in the acclaimed web series Gal Pals.

Alison’s film and television credits are diverse and impressive. She is best known for her recurring role in the Netflix series The Order. Other notable appearances include Apple TV+'s Home Before Dark, FOX's Phone Swap, and several festival-recognized independent films like Girl Fight (UCLA MFA) and Sweet and Sour Chicks (NBC Shortfest).

Currently based in Vancouver, Alison is an active contributor to the local entertainment community. She collaborates with a sketch comedy group, producing original, humorous content that highlights her sharp comedic skills. She also continues to refine her craft, including training in Sitcom Acting under Scott Sedita.

Fluent in English and Cantonese, Alison is a versatile actress whose work spans drama, comedy, and everything in between. With a natural ability to bring depth, humor, and authenticity to her roles, she is a rising talent to watch in both television and film.
